Through the fundraising efforts of the Hawai’i Life Charitable Fund’s board of directors and the generous contributions of Hawai‘i Life’s agents and clients, we were able to raise and donate $200,000 in 2018 to Hawai-based 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organizations serving the Hawaiian Islands.
The Hawai‘i Life Charitable Fund (HLCF) at the Hawai‘i Community Foundation recently donated $12,400 to West Maui fire relief efforts. The funds supported Maui-based non-profit organizations assisting with damages incurred from three separate brush fires that swept across West Maui in the early morning hours of August 24, 2018, exacerbated by Hurricane Lane’s strong winds.

Hawaiian Islands Land Trust (HILT) is an accredited statewide land trust devoted to the preservation of Hawai‘i’s precious natural resources and cultural heritage. HILT was formed in 2011 and implements a variety of programming aimed at land conservation across the state, with an ambitious vision of protecting those lands in perpetuity.
